16,086. Bell, W. R. July 9. Easel stands; trestles.-A table, stand, or desk of the kind having a pivoted angularly-adjustable top, is provided with a locking-device to hold the adjusting-link securely in position. The tilting top 2, pivoted to the standard 1, is provided with two pivoted links 4 and a cross-bar or rod 5, which is adapted to be seated in one of the pairs of notches 6 in the front legs 7. The locking-bar 8 is pivoted at 9 and has notches 11 corresponding with the notches 6.
