Continuous flooring.-A jointless floor is formed by laying thin dry plates or blocks of artificial wood on 'a concrete foundation, or upon a layer of sand thereon, and covering the plates or blocks with a thin continuous layer of artificial wood. Cracks are thus prevented from spreading from the foundation to the linoleum or like floor covering.
