Meat - carving appliances.-A container for pressed meats or other alimentary solids comprises a cylindrical glass jar a, Fig. 1, having a closed end b perforated at c and a lid d. The contents are forced out of the jar, when desired, by pressing a suitable instrument through the hole c against a disk g, which flts loosely in the cylinder. The lid d may be provided with feet e, Fig. 3, similar to the feet h of the jar, and it may carry a ticket f.
