Hinged sliding windows.-The cord attachment for sliding sashes which can be turned inwards, and particularly for the windows described in Specification 13,918/08, comprises a hooked plate a secured to the sash and a cord plate c having a hooked portion d engaging with the plate a and a part e sliding in a groove f in the pulley stile. The lower end of the groove f is protected by a plate h, and, when the sash is turned inwards, the cord plate c is held by the engagement of a sliding pin i with the part e.
