Abstract

6741. Rauh, J. J. March 20. Combs, hair. - These are provided with a cleaning - device comprising a plate 4, Fig. 2, which is slidable along the surface of the comb and carries fingers 5<a>, which normally lie between the roots of the teeth 1<a> of the comb. The ends 4<a> of the plate are curved round the comb, which is slotted for the engagement of the projections 6. Fig. 3 shows a cross-section of the device in its closed position, where it is retained by the engagement of the tongue 7 with the depression 9 in the comb.
