Abstract

4836. Wall, W. June 11, 1908. Presses are provided with means to allow for the thickness of the seams. The press-boards B are in two pairs, each pair being connected together, some distance apart, by metal or like cross - bars A, on the ends A' of which are clamping-devices C. To allow for the thickness of the seams G, the space between the two lower boards B is filled up by means of one or more strips M of millboard &c., held in position by the edges M' fitting into grooves &c. G.
