Abstract

7126. Davidson, F. N. March 27. Specula; optical instruments.-A lens 4 is mounted in a tube 2, having a sidopening 1 and an inclined plane or concave mirror 3. The mirror is provided with a central opening 9, or the silvering is removed from this portion of the glass. Three differentsized specula 8 are furnished with the instrument. The inside of the instrument is blacked to prevent cross reflection. The lens is adjustable by means of the mounting 6.
