Abstract

190,279. Hendrie, R. W. Oct. 5, 1921. Road-traffic signals on vehicle. - A direction indicator comprises a lamp A with windows F, G, M, N and carrying polished metal hands H, I. When the lamp is turned against a spring L by a cable &c. B, a red bull's-eye E is forced by a stop D to cover the window M, as shown in dotted lines in Fig 2, and a bell J is operated by a member K. The duplicate hand I may be lifted and held in position by a stud R to act as a " for hire " indicator.
