Abstract

190,045. Ross, A. F., and Forsyth, T. Jan. 21, 1922. Securing labels.-A label for miners' corves and the like is passed through a hole in the corve from the inside and is held in place by an abutment to which the label is movably attached and which remains inside the corve. The label 1 may be made of rubber, leather &c. so that it can be rolled up to pass through the hole 5, and afterwards return to its original shape, or it may pass through a slot. It is attached to a loop 2a on a split pin 2, which is twisted to retain the label in place, and bent as at 2<b> to form an abutment which will not pass through the hole 5.
