Abstract

17,738. Thornton, J. E., and Rothwell, C. F. S. Sept. 2. Printing-paper; developing; fixing; toning.- Printing-paper is first coated on the back with a waterproof coating, then with a solution containing dextrin or the like, and a developer, or a combined developer and fixer, or a toning-substance and fixer, or a fixer only. Above all is spread a coating of paper, gelatine, or the like to exclude air. The prints are developed &c. by merely immersing them in water.
