Abstract

187,121. Tyzack, W., and Turton, W. H. Sept. 27, 1921. Folding knives.-The bolsters a of a clasp knife are formed with lugs b on the underside and are secured to the scales c by pressure or hammering whereby the lugs are caused to fill up and spread around notches d in such scales. The lugs are preferably rounded on the inner or meeting faces and sloping on the outer faces while the width of the neck e between the notches d corresponds to, or is slightly less than, the width of the gap between the lugs b.
