Thrashing-machines.-In a thrashing-machine, the feed-roller shaft 1, the drum or beater shaft 2, the rotary shaker shaft 3, the crank-shaft 4, and the fan shaft 5 are all driven by an endless chain 6, which also runs over a jockey pulley 15. The drive is effected through the shaft 2 by a a belt 7 and engine 8.
