Abstract
185,985. Berry, H. H. Oct. 27, 1921. Imitation fires.-The " fuel for imitation fires consists o f moulded glass of slablike form. The outer surface is rough and has pieces of coke or coal 7 more or less embedded; sand may also be applied to the outer surface, and colouring agents may be in the glass or applied to it. Where more than one slab is used, the adjoining edges overlap as shown to prevent direct passage of light. b is the usual electric lamp with flicker-producing device c, or a gas burner may be employed. In the case of a firebasket the fuel " may be of inverted deep bowl shape.
