Abstract

184,958. Martin, F. G. July 4, 1921. Inlet and outlet ventilators, arrangements of; ventilating ships.-A ship's ejector ventilator comprises a trunk 1 having a mouth 2 of substantially the proportions shown in relation to the trunk and terminating in a nozzle 3 projecting into a tube 4 which extends rearwardly of the trunk. The ventilator is preferably arranged in the fore part of the ship, an inlet ventilator being provided at the other end of the hold with its mouth turned from the direction of sailing.
