Wheels with non-supporting casings enclosing spokes. -A spoke-covering device for vehicle wheels comprises discs C, D, connected by inclined hooked tension rods E fitted with turnbuckles E'. The disc C which fits closely to the edge of the rim B, is strengthened by strips C<1> carrying lugs C2, and the disc D fits on a collar D<1> which seats on the hub-shell A. The tensionrods E are hooked to the Jugs C<2> and to lugs D<2> on the collar D.
