Plastic compositions containing fibres and soluble silicates.-Jointless floor and wall coverings are composed of a plastic composition consisting of finely-ground arenaceous quartz, oxide of zinc, wood shavings, and potassium silicate solution. Suitable proportions are 50 parts of quartz, 40 of shavings, 5 of zinc oxide, and 50 of potassium-silicate solution of 30‹ BÚ. The composition may be coloured.
