Abstract

183,031. Jones, E. July 6, 1921. Ladders.-The top tread of a step ladder is extended by means of a removable platform fitted to rails 7 which are adapted to fit between the side posts of the ladder and engage the underside of the top tread, the platform being further supported by pivoted stays 11, the cross-bar 12 of which engages a cross-bar 15 on the back stay of the ladder. Turnbuckles 13, 9 prevent accidental displacement of the bracket.
