Abstract

180,956. Gunter, H., and Deutsche Werke Akt.-Ges. Sept. 27, 1921. Fuel containers.-A saddle-shape motor-cycle tank adapted to saddle the top tube d is provided with an auxiliary or reserve fuel-tank g arranged in the space enclosed by the inner side walls of the main tank and the two upper frame tubes d, e. The reserve tank g is secured at its front end to the steering-head by a lug, and felt or similar packing m is arranged between the two tanks. The main tank carries on its upper part a tool-box which encloses the inlets to the two tanks and a depthgauge t. The inlet and outlet to the auxiliary tank pass through the upper and lower frame tubes respectively.
