Abstract

179,046. M³ller, G. March 29, 1921. Hooks fixed to walls and flat surfaces. - Relates to means for fixing picture hooks, wall brackets for supporting pipes, &c., and consists in providing the fastening plate with a number of nail apertures coacting with a domed covering with a single aperture to admit a guide or nail into a wall in various directions. As applied to a pipe-hook, a number of apertures 6, 7 are formed in the fixing- plate 1 and a single central aperture 4 in a dome 3 preferably formed from a folded-back extension of the plate 1. A nail can be inserted through the aperture 4 and through any of the apertures 6, 7 and then driven into the wall. Radial depressions 8 are made in the dome to guide the nail.
