Abstract

178,491. Moorshead, T. C. Dec. 11, 1920. Ventilators.-A roof ventilator is formed by a two-sided extension, one side 3 of which is imperforate and is inclined downwardly to the horizontal from the edge at which it meets the other side 6, which comprises fixed or movable louvers 7. In the arrangement shown the sides 1, 2 of the roof are extended to form the upper sides 3, 4 of two such ventilators, a trough being left between them. Horizontal winds passing over the sides 3, 4 form eddies which exert an extractor action through the louvers.
