Cameras, roll and film and collapsable, and cases for; roll-spools.-In a roll-film camera, the lens 9, Fig. 4, is mounted on a slotted focusing mount moving in an inner frame 7 of the casing 1. The casing is stamped out cf sheet metal and shaped to contain the spools 6, and is closed by a cover 2, Fig. 2. The slot 13 of the focusing mount is specially cut so that the distance graduations on the plate 27 may be equidistant. An extension slot 14 is provided so that, with longfocus lenses, the lens mount may be pushed right into the frame 7. The exposure indications are obtained by means of a wheel 16, Fig. 1, rotating in contact with the edge of the film and driving an indicating pointer. Three alternative constructions of indicating mechanism are described. The film may pass over a padded plate 23, or, to facilitate loading, a retractable spring plate may be fitted to press the film forward against the frame 7 and the operative wheel of the indicator. The backing paper of the film may be dispensed with and the film formed with extensions 29, Fig. 8, which have gaps 30. The absence of movement of the indicator indicates that these gaps 30 are passing the wheel 16 and indicates the starting and end of the film.
