Abstract

Holders; battery lamps.-In miners' or other battery lamps, one of the battery terminals E<1> or a metallic member connected thereto supports a spring clip into which the bulb can be instantly inserted. In the construction shown in Fig. 1 the clip E is of pincers form, the jaws being corrugated to fit the screw-threads of the bulb cap, on to which they are pressed by a spring E<2>. In the construction shown in Fig. 2, the bulb is gripped between a fixed abutment E<4> and a spring plunger E<5>.
