Abstract

171,443. Brusa, S. July 16, 1920. Casting-machines; metal-pouring.-Metal from a crucible &c. 1 is charged into a mould by an immersed bent pipe 2 connected through a valve 22 to a source of fluid pressure. The mould parts are carried by levers 15 pivoted at 17 and located in casting-position by a stop 20, the surface 18 then camming down the counterweighted supply-pipe 7 to seat at 5 in the bent pipe. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 122,420, 129,976, and 141,662.
