Abstract

168,734. Martin, L., and Robb, H. V. July 9, 1920. Filters having sheet filtering-materials. - A filter intended especially for use in the lubrication systems of internalcombustion engines comprises a plurality of cylindrical screens of increasing fineness carried bv skeleton buckets G, F, E, which are centred by the engagement of their rims one within another as shown. The buckets are held in place by a spring J, carried by the lid K of the casing A, and the bases of the buckets may be provided with engaging bosses F<3>. The casing has an inlet B, and outlets C, D leading respectively to the engine and to a relief valve.
