Combing-machines. - The needle-cleaning brush of a combing-machine is arranged so that it contacts with the comb cylinder only when the needles are passing. The brush 6 is mounted in a spring-controlled lever 8 which is depressed by a cam 5 on the comb shaft corresponding in length and position to the fluted segment. The cam bowl is adjustably mounted on the lever to enable the position of the brush relative to the cylinder to be adjusted.
