Suspenders for articles of dress.-A trouser, skirt, or like hanger is formed from a piece of wire A, the centre portion of which is straight with a loop a<1> in the middle, the ends A<2> of the wire being bent downwards and looped back to form slides B on which spring clips C adjust themselves to varying widths of garments. A hook D, which serves for suspending the hanger and allows it free rotary movement, is inserted in the loop a<1>, and its lower end is bent over as shown at d. Each clip C is formed from two pieces of wood c, hollowed out at c<1> to grip the garment, and controlled by a spring E, which also serves to attach the clip to the slide B.
