Plate and like racks.-In a plate or like rack wherein the plates are supported between transverse bars which are secured to longitudinal side members, the transverse bars are of rectangular section and are superimposed upon the longitudinal side members. The bars b rest upon and are secured to the side members a so that the lower edges of the plates rest on the members a. A slightly inclined slidot f of wood or 'metal forms a draining-trough, or alternatively the rack may be open at its bottom. A number of racks may be superposed and supported by uprights to form one structure.
