Abstract

160,526. Watt, J. A. D. Dec. 19, 1919. Razors, safety, of the type wherein the blade can be stropped without removal therefrom. The blade 8 is pivoted in a carrier 6 slidin@ on the guard 9. The carrier has ' a screwed shank 5 extending through a transverse slot 10 in the guard and engaged by the threaded socket 4 of the handle 3. By slackening the handle, the 'blade and guard are adjustable relatively to one another in a direction at right-angles to the axis of the handle which, on being tightened, locks the blade and guard in the desired setting. According to the Provisional Specification, the carrier may be combined in known manner with one or more rollers for effecting the stropping of the blade.
