160,029. Metropolitan Carriage, Wagon, & Finance Co., Ltd., and Chandler, L. Jan. 2, 1920. Antifriction-wheel and roller bearings.-A roller bearing, particulary for bogie carriages and wagons as described in Specification 149,516, [Class 103 (vi), Railway &c. vehicles, Undercarriage &c. details of], comprises a wheel e mounted at each side of the bogie carriage, each wheel having an annular chamber containing rollers j running on a fixed pin g. Flanged rings k mouted on the pin close the gaps at the ends of the wheel and retain lubricant, which is introduced through passages o, p in the pin. The lubricant may be forced into the wheel by screwing in a stud q. A wire or strip u engaging grooves in the rollers retains them in position when the wheel is removed from the pin.
