Abstract

158,104. Guy, S. S. Nov. 4, 1919. Vaporizers, external.-A length of pipe between the carburettor and the induction manifold is made to traverse the water pipe leading from the top of the cylinders to the radiator. Figs. 4 and 5 show the invention applied to V-engines. Caps 2 on the water jackets of each block of cylinders are united by a T-pipe 8 leading to the radiator and enclosing two induction pipes 3. The arrangement of pipes for a single block of cylinders is also described. The water pipes or chambers are of the kind described in Specification 121,977, [Class 7 (ii), Internal-combustion engines, Arrangement &c. of].
