157,541. Saunders, S. E. Oct. 15, 1919. Dwellings, arrangement and design of.-A house which is circular in horizontal section, having cylindrical walls a surmounted by a conical roof b is planned with a central circular room c to be used as a kitchen and with outer rooms d having radially disposed walls e. The entrance f opens into a passage g with a bath room &c. h leading out of it. The compartments i, j serve as a larder and a coal-cellar respectively. The flue k<1> of a central cooking stove k ascends to a louver ventilator l which may be connected to the rooms d. The windows n are secured within corresponding apertures of the walls a by means of screws &c. The kitchen c is lighted by a skylight o. The walls a may be built up of wooden frames having laths &c. nailed thereto, finished externally in roughcast and covered internally with " beaver-board " or ply-wood or the like.
