Abstract
The furniture hinge has a housing (2) and a hinge arm (1). Between these parts are provided joint straps (3, 4) articulated on joint pins (5, 6, 9, 10). The furniture hinge is equipped with a keeping-shut device consisting of a leg spring (11). The leg spring (11) surrounds the joint pin (10) of the hinge arm (1) and is supported with a first leg end (12) on the joint pin (9) of the housing (2) and with the second leg end (13), in the closing position shown in Figure 1, on an end roller (7) of the joint strap (3) which engages round the joint pin (5), or, in an intermediate position or in the opening position, on the joint pin (5) itself. By means of the two bearing steps which are assigned to the second leg end (13), the maximum spring tension in the hinge positions outside the closing position is kept low. The bearing of the second leg end (13) on the joint pin (5) is made possible by a recess (14) in the joint strap (3). Furthermore, the joint strap (3) has a recess which is located in the region of the joint pin (6) and which serves for receiving the first leg end (12) in the open position of the hinge. <IMAGE>
