153,968. Lewis, A. C. Aug. 18, 1919. Hasp fastenings.-In a hasp fastening for gates, doors, &c., the hasp member 1 is hinged to an eyed screw or bolt 2, secured to one member to be fastened, and has a loop 4 adapted to coincide with the eyed screw or bolt 5 secured to the other member, the shank of a padlock being passed through the loop 4 and eye 5 to secure the parts. By bending one end of the member 1 at rightangles to the other end, the hasp may be used for locking the lid of a box.
