1536105 Work holders; chucks HEIDELBERGER DRUCKMASCHINEN AG 30 March 1977 [18 Aug 1976] 13393/77 Heading B3B A workpiece holder, e.g. for internally gripping a bore of a workpiece 7, comprises a holder body 6 which supports a cylindrical sleeve 1 having an outside cylindrical surface which is a close fit in said bore, said sleeve having a flange 3 extending from the opposite surface adjacent the flange, wherein when a clamping part 12 applies a force to the free edge of the flange the sleeve is distorted around the recess 10 to grip the workpiece. In an alternative arrangement, Fig. 2, the workpiece 16 is gripped externally.
