1534609 Insecticide activators STAUFFER CHEMICAL CO 26 Aug 1976 35529/76 Heading ASE [Also in Division C2] An insecticidal composition comprises N- (mercaptomethyl) phtalimide-S-(O, O-dimethyl phosphorodithioate) and as activator therefor a compound having the general formula: wherein R is methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, i-propyl or i-butyl, R 1 is methyl, ethyl n-propyl, ipropyl, n-butyl or i-butyl and R 2 is optionally substituted phenyl, the substituents being selected from methyl, ethyl, i-propyl, i-butyl, methoxy, ethoxy and dimethylamino; optionally substituted phenalkyl the substituents being selected from chlorine, methyl, i-propyl and methoxy; or is the group The composition may be in various conventional forms and may contain other pesticidal agents.
