Abstract

1533434 Sizing compositions HERCULES Inc 21 Feb 1977 [10 March 1976] 09523/76 Heading C3R [Also in Division D2] A sizing composition comprises (A) a hydrophobic cellulose-reactive sizing agent and (B) the product obtained by condesning a polyalkylene polyamine with dicyandiamide or cyanamide, followed by reacting with ephihalohydrin. (B) is described in Specification 1,125,486. (A) may be a conventional ketene dimer, acid anhydride, or organic isocyanate. Specification 1,373,788 is referred to.
