Abstract

1533090 Furniture spring HUBER & SUHNER AG 3 June 1977 [18 June 1976 9 March 1977] 23647/77 Heading A4M A spring 1 for supporting a transverse lath 2 on a frame 3 of furniture comprises a mass of resilient material (rubber) formed in two parts 8, 9 which become strained in sequence on the application of an increasing load 19 on the lath. The spring is riveted at 4, 5 to the frame 3 and supports the lath in an opening 12, the parts 8, 9 being separated by an opening 17, an opening 18 being optional. A modified shape is illustrated in Fig. 3 (not shown). The parts 8, 9 may have different degrees of hardness.
