Abstract

153,056. Bagshaw, G. H. Jan. 8, 1920. Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and helical springs.-Relates to spring wheels of the type in which an inner wheel is connected by springs to an outer wheel. The outer wheel comprises rims a, a<2> connected by spokes a<1>, supported by springs c from the inner wheel b. Tangential springs d connect the rims a, b, being secured to the outer rim a through arched straps a<3>. The inner wheel is made in two parts which are assembled to embrace the spokes a'. In a modification, the spokes a<1> and the springs are duplicated and the inner wheel is made in three parts. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 127,096.
