Abstract

1530218 Illuminating arrangements for microscopes ERNST LEITZ WETZLAR GmbH 19 May 1977 [16 June 1976] 21090/77 Heading G2J The variable diaphragm 7 of a transmission microscope illuminator is mounted (by surfaces 5, 5a) for limited transverse movement, thereby allowing the optical axis to be traversed parallel to itself to assist alignment with an objective (not shown). The aperture size is adjusted by ring 11, which also affords a convenient member to push against to effect the transverse motion.
