1530045 Sewage screen WILLIAM E FARRER Ltd 28 July 1977 [3 Aug 1976] 32233/76 Heading B1D A sewage treatment apparatus comprises an inlet channel for carrying a flow of sewage and a screen 11 which extends across said channel, said screen comprising a plurality of spaced bars 12, means 15 for rotating the bars completely about their respective longitudinal axes and a plurality of non rotatable plates 16 each of said non stable plates being disposed adjacent to a respective said bar on the downstream side thereof and extending in a direction generally parallel to the associated bar whereby in use any screenings which may tend to adhere to the bar will be removed therefrom by the plate on rotation of the bar.
