Abstract

1529916 Electro-photographic printer XEROX CORP 14 April 1976 [21 April 1975] 15242/76 Heading G2X An electro-photographic printer comprises (a) a photo-conductive member, (b) means for electrostatically charging said member, (c) a liquid crystalline imaging cell, (d) means for projecting a light image of a document through the cell on to the charged member to record an electrostatic latent image thereon, and (e) means for energizing the cell to form thereon a screen pattern to modulate said light image and hence the electrostatic image formed.
