Abstract
1529491 Pulse shaping INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 27 July 1976 [4 Aug 1975] 31231/76 Heading H3T A pulse regeneration circuit comprises an amplifier 3, figure 1 having complementary outputs 8, 10 and a comparator having inputs 6, 4 connected to the outputs 8, 10 by clamping circuits 5,5' each comprising a series capacitor Cl or C2, Fig. 3, and parallel shunt diodes Dl, D2 and resistors Rl, R2. The voltage at point A in Fig. 3 is set by a zener diode and a diode and resistor may be inserted between points A and B to improve clamping. The invention may be used to regenerate pulses received over an optical PCM system.
