Abstract

1528965 Ink droplet printers GOULD Inc 16 Dec 1976 [16 Dec 1974 (2)] 51459/75 Heading B6F An ink droplet printer includes means to purge air bubbles from the system, comprising a secondary conduit 35 communicating with the primary conduit 5 upstream of the nozzle orifice 21, the arrangement being such that ink can be pumped through the primary and secondary conduits before use of the printer to eliminate any air present in the primary conduit. The nozzle orifice 21 may be closed during purging.
