1526884 Sliding caliper disc brakes AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS Ltd 3 May 1977 [25 May 1976] 21530/76 Heading F2E The caliper is guided by two arms 21 of the fixed support and a tongue 23 located between the arms and extending away from the disc. A pin 39 connected to projections 37 on the caliper extends beneath tongue 23 so that the latter restrains caliper movement both circumferentially and radially. Alternatively a headed bolt secured to the caliper can move in a slot in tongue 23.
