1526324 Platinum/aminoorganomodified silica silylation catalysts DOW CORNING Ltd 14 July 1977 [14 July 1976] 29221/76 Headings C3S and C3T [Also in Divisions B1 and C1] Silicon compounds having Si-H groups are reacted with organic or organosilicon substances containing aliphatic insaturations in the presence of a catalyst prepared by contacting an inorganic particulate solid with groups bonded to the surface (see Division B1) with or The silicon compound may be a silane, e.g. trichlorosilane or methyldichlorosilane, or an organosiloxane and the organic compound may be allyl chloride. The catalyst may remain in the product, e.g. an elastomeric or resinous organosilicon compound, where it may function as an additive or filler.
