Abstract

1524408 Glass composition NITTO BOSEKI CO Ltd 22 Nov 1976 [19 Dec 1975] 48597/76 Heading C1M An alkali resistant glass fibre for reinforcing cement is characterized by the presence of both La 2 O 3 and CeO 2 in a weight ratio between 1:1 and 1:0À7. The glass comprises in weight per cent SiO 2 60-75; Na 2 O + K 2 O 9-18 of which no more than 3% is K 2 O; Al 2 O 3 and/or Fe 2 O 3 0À3-9; La 2 O 3 +CeO 2 0À5-12 and ZrO 2 0-6.
