Abstract

1524281 Drop leaf tables; bracket tables K A ENSTROM 12 April 1976 [14 April 1975] 14855/76 Headings A4B and A4H [Also in Division E2] In a telescopic stay (Division E1-2) for a folding table having at least one flap 10, an inner tube 17 is displaceably mounted in an outer tube 16 and is actuated by a tension spring 21 towards an inner end position in which a stop arm 19 on the outer end of the inner tube abuts an adjacent stop end of the outer tube 16, the latter being displaceably mounted in an attachment sleeve 18 which may be displaced so that its one end abuts the stop arm on the inner tube. The attachment sleeve 18 has a member 14 for pivotally connecting the stay to a column 12 for supporting the table. In the-extended position shown in Fig. 1 the stop arm 19 abuts against the end 18b of the attachment sleeve 18. Figure 2 illustrates the retracted position of the stay.
