1520734 Sirens THOMAS ASHWORTH & CO Ltd 23 May 1975 [28 May 1974] 23497/74 Heading G5J An electrically powered siren has components which are snap-fitted together (i.e. motor 40 to plate 39, plate 39 to cover 13, cover 13 to body 12); in assembly, the motor being brought up to, and then rotated with respect to, the plate 39 to effect the snap-fit. Screws may be inserted into slots 28 for added security. The casing may be formed of plastics material. There may be an additional body part, snap-fitted or screwed to the main body, and containing additional equipment, e.g. transformer 58. The motor may be battery driven. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,300,905.
