Abstract
1520357 Ejectors GLUTZ A G 17 Sept 1976 [17 Sept 1975] 38601/76 Heading F1E [Also in division B1] In an ejector device for sucking in and mixing an added liquid 9 with a mains water current entering the device at 1, the dilution of the mixture is controlled by means of an adjusting and shut-off cock 3 having a scale 4 to indicate the dilution. When set to produce the most concentrated mixture, a by-pass 11 is closed and mains water flows through at 5 to an ejector 6 arranged above a tube 7 leading to the liquid 9 in a container 8. Liquid 9 is drawn up and mixed with the mains water to exit at 13. When a less concentrated mixture is required the cock 3 is turned so that the by-pass 11 is opened to some degree, the passage 5 being kept open. Water emerges from the by-pass 11 to form the primary jet of a second ejector 12, this feeding on the mixture leaving the first ejector 6. A pressure indicator is provided at 10.
