Abstract

1518625 Rotary tube furnace having a planetary cooler KLOCKNER-HUMBOLDTDEUTZAG 14 Jan 1977 [11 Feb 1976] 01597/77 Heading F4B Planatary cooling tubes 2 are mounted on a rotary tube furnace 1 by mountings 3 which are connected to the tubes 2 through resilient intermediate members 5 forming annular chambers 4. The members 5 are provided with openings 6 to allow heat to flow away from the chambers 4. As shown, a blower 7 blows or sucks air as indicated by arrows. A cooling coil 11 for liquid or gaseous coolant may be provided.
